Kyphi is a traditional and probably the most well-known evening incense in ancient Egypt. It is recorded on the Ebers Papyrus, one of the oldest medical texts to have survived to modern times.
The production process takes months and involves 18 different ingredients, which were also traditionally formed into small spheres. We've deviated from the traditional shape and offer our Kyphi in a diamond shape. The higher contact surface allows us to achieve the best fragrance experience. Regarding the ingredients, we adhere to tradition and produce them as faithfully as possible according to traditional recipes.
Whoever burns Kyphi in the evening will be granted peace and quiet.
We deviated from the original "spherical" shape and opted for a "diamond" shape. Since a diamond has a larger contact surface than a sphere, we achieve a nearly perfect result when smoking on a stainless steel tray.
We recommend using it on a stainless steel smoking tray, which is heated with a tea light (burning time 4 hours).
